The rats are jumping climate change ship

I asked this SJW simply to elaborate on the science of climate change a little a long time ago. The response was pretty much, "Just shut up and don't question any of it." So then I questioned it even more…

It's not just Gates
Of course H spent decades voting for climate change alarmists
For Race a "climate change alarmist" is anyone who doesn't deny the climate is changing.
See
H fell for it. He falls for everything

Scientists say Ocasio-Cortez’s dire climate warning is spot on
The science is settled.
Oh yeah, I forgot that the bartender said the world will end in four years and two months. Better stock up on ammo.

What normal people are saying: "The climate change alarmists are overselling the immediate threat."
What TugCons are hearing: "THERE IS NO CLIMATE CHANGE!!!"

I'm agnostic on whether what we can do about climate change is worth the cost. There are reasons besides checking climate change for some pro-environmental measures. I'm old enough to remember when Republicans cared about the environment.
I'm also one of those MBAs who doesn't favor the destruction of capitalism.
Surprising, I'm sure. To morons.

Agnostic
Sure
It has nothing to do with the environment other than ruining the movement like covid ruined vaccines
The clean air and water bills worked which is why the communists invented global cooling warming climate change
Fuck off

Cutting rainforest to make roads for a climate conference.
With an opposing party this weak, why isn’t the GOP ahead by 50 points?

Chrissey proves what I said and declares some sort of "victory" over . . . something . . . perhaps.
We haven't shut down production as Grampa claimed.
I'm always right.
It gets monotonous.
Even for me.

No one said production was shut down you fucking moron
About the only move he has these days is misrepresenting what others have said. It's all he's got left having to try and carry water for his party.
Either that or his reading skills are that bad.
Probably abundance.

They don't think they can hide their money laundry. I'm old enough to recall 500 million to solyndra who then promptly went out of business with all the cash…

The California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) committed $468 million to the Clean Energy & Technology Fund (CETF), a private equity investment initiated in 2007 as part of its portfolio diversification strategy. As of March 31, 2025, the fund's value stood at approximately $138 million, reflecting a 71% decline or a loss exceeding $330 million. Private equity firms involved received at least $22 million in fees and costs. CalPERS noted that the fund was overseen by prior leadership and that current management prioritizes diversification and risk management. Private equity investments generally involve higher fees and less transparency than public assets, which can influence returns in sectors like clean energy. This outcome affects public employees' retirement funds and has prompted discussions on investment approaches in public pension management.
Our retirement system was victim! Green sure can reduce money!

It's even worse when you translate that $468 into inflation adjusted dollars or what the npv would be had it just been invested passively.

Aomewjat relatedly, imagine Social Security returns if you could have taken 10% of your confiscated contributions and put them into mutual funds or bonds back in 2004 when BushHitler wanted to “privatize” SS and destroy it?
Great honesty back then by the Dems.
