The program will take a step forward next year

No I'm talking about him getting money here for 1 year THEN getting his 5 years. You keep commiting the fact that he will still get that the following year because you are assuming he will blow out his knee for absolutely no reason
@BleachedAnusDawg
I understand your point but the NFL is guaranteed money for multiple years. Injuries happen all the time.

Is this conversation still going? HE walked out there on senior day. He's a 2nd or 3rd round guy at worse and it's a bad WR class. He's also a redshirt junior, right? He's also battled injuries the past two years.
Lots of dumbfucks in this thread.

He’s going to be a 2nd round pick at worst. He’s going to get money. Maybe he’s one of those guys that just really loves college, but he walked with the seniors today, so it’s pretty reasonable to assume he’s gone.
Pretty sure odunze walked twice. Doesn't mean anything and 2nd round 1st year isnt much more than what UW could pay him

Rome Odunze is returning to Washington in 2023 — and that’s no joke
He says he did it to move up in the draft. Boston will do that as well

Imagine being such an arrogant dumbfuck you think you know another person's mind.

You're on a (opposing fan bases) college football board talking about opinions as arrogance? You don't really GET it do you
Probably the undiagnosed autism

I may be a newb but I've pmd @IrishDawg22 a few times and I've read the name of the damn site before
An og like you should know 99% of what we say here is conjecture

*Deleted original comment after reading the entire thread. If I’m Boston not a chance in hell I return as a 2nd/3rd rounder. It’s true I saw him on a 1st round mock draft, prior to his punt return injury.

but will the play calling hold it back?
Assuming Fisch and Walters both stay, they will be bringing back a lot of pivotal players that got valuable experience this season.
Demond will be going into year two, the line will be a veteran group, talented freshman will be coming in, and this staff has proven an ability to bring in good players via the portal (Willis, most of the defensive line).
Making the playoffs is mandatory. I just don't know if this offense will ever get into a rhythm against good teams. It always takes a miracle and a 4th down conversion to do anything.
Need to channel the Petersen year 3. There are some parallels.

Jedd is sark….
But sark did fire his DC, hire coffee cuppz lupoi, and go to a hurry up offense. Maybe Judd will give up play calling duties and bring in a real OC?🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

No fucking way🤣🤣🤣

Indiana (w/ Coach Whisperer Ciganetti) is L until proven otherwise
Ditto at Oregon
Penn State w/ their 10-15k fans will look like their 2022/2023/2024 team versus this years who quit on Franklin. I would lean 65-35% loss
Here's the swing games next year with 2 of them on road
As long as Kurt F and his DC are at Iowa that D will keep us in the teens. Can our Defense match that? I'd feel better if we could get more turnovers than we do,
At SC: Gun to head Loss b/c their O and playmakers at wr will score enough but a complete tbd at this point
At Nebraska: Later in year is better as they seem to fade under Ruhle, but then you run risk of WIsconsin weather event which I want no part of. No matter when hits on Calendar there will be 90k dressed in red or black there to make a difference for Husker Nation. They will be favored to win b/c playing at home.
To take next step Jedd has to win at least two of them which puts us at that Big Ten Middling Middle 8-4 again. If he's the guy he needs three, but when you lose 8 starters, maybe Denzel, and then whatever portal attrition/injuries that seems like a big ask/jump/expectation

Triple poast
Judd has to beat Indiana and Pedo at home

Assuming he gets the transfers he needs, I see Fisch going 9-3 next year and then getting a head coaching gig in the NFL.

Is Demond going to grow 6 inches taller and increase his IQ by 40 points?
hopefully an inch, 20 lbs of muscle, a new scheme and a new attitude, 20 iq
honestly, if the line takes another step forward which it should, just hand the ball off and be a run first team. that scheme along with the defense would be good.
but this is Fisch. can't get out of his own way.
over under on sidelines infractions is 0.5 per game.
Even, if he grows an inch 5'8" is too small.

Indiana becomes a well coached 8-4 type program next year if Mendoza leaves. It’s Indiana.

Indiana has a killer at head coach. As long as he is there they will be top of the conference. Projecting a Fisch type season onto him is hope at best.
