The program will take a step forward next year

Need a big playmaker WR out of the portal, which will be expensive. Boston bailed us out a lot of times, and he’s going to be very hard to replace
UW will pay for him to come back
He has a first round grade in most mocks. He is gone.
Not so fast my friend. One of the few perks of modern CFB is that you can hang out in college and get paid most of what you would in your 1st NFL year

Look at your schedule.
Great schedule. Two of five road B1G games are to 0regon or Los Angeles. Then Mich St and Purdue. I guess Nebraska was good at home 50 years ago. So there is that.
The toughest games at home are against PSU, Indiana (no worse that tOSU at home this year) and Iowa.
Disagree. 5 conference road games. Win total O/U will be 7.5.

Yes. With nine conference games every year - every other year will have five road games. Fortunately at Nebraska is the toughest eastbound road trip and they are a shell of their former selves.
And we have never cried ourselves to sleep at night fearing a trip to either Springfield or Watts.

NFL guarantees multiple years of money. College is one and if he gets hurt he's SOL. You're talking about him as if he's a 5th round guy.

No shit, thanks for explaining the thing we've been doing for 20 years.

No I'm talking about him getting money here for 1 year THEN getting his 5 years. You keep commiting the fact that he will still get that the following year because you are assuming he will blow out his knee for absolutely no reason

He’s going to be a 2nd round pick at worst. He’s going to get money. Maybe he’s one of those guys that just really loves college, but he walked with the seniors today, so it’s pretty reasonable to assume he’s gone.

Is this conversation still going? HE walked out there on senior day. He's a 2nd or 3rd round guy at worse and it's a bad WR class. He's also a redshirt junior, right? He's also battled injuries the past two years.

Pretty sure odunze walked twice. Doesn't mean anything and 2nd round 1st year isnt much more than what UW could pay him

In today’s NIL game, you’re better off staying in school unless you are a surefire No. 1 pick.
One of the “good” things about the changing dynamics of college football. There is a motivation to stay that previously didn’t exist

I understand your point but the NFL is guaranteed money for multiple years. Injuries happen all the time.

Lots of dumbfucks in this thread.

I thought Walters did a good job. I don't remember anyone scoring over 30 points. That doesn't mean it didn't happen, but it means I don't remember it happening.

The offense and Williams basically beat up on the poor and average teams, and averaged about ten points against the real teams. Get a real OC.

Oregon scored the most points that UW allowed all season. It was an incredibly impressive D.

Yup.
UW 2023 was built off a ton of players who could have went pro after 2022 with 3rd or so round draft grades.
Instead they stayed and all got paid.
Give Boston a million in NIL and hope he stays healthy, has a big year, and makes 10 times would he would've with a 3rd round draft pick.
Don't have him return punts.
