It sounds like it. The supposed lesser of the two has already looked good while being protected from an overly large role last season.

Depth in the interior is great. Remember when the whole roster would have, at best, 1-2 viable defensive tackles? That was basically the case throughout the 2000s and through Sark's tenure.

I know you're not saying "just trust the coaches". It's surprising how many of them, with the opportunity to see guys in person and watch a hell of a lot more film, don't hit at a higher rate than me or others that like to speculate about recruits.
