What I see is Will Harris is putting out two CBs that will get picked In the first two days of the NFL draft, while all Dante Williams is putting out feelers and resumes. So yes, at this point I’d take Harris.

One of the worst takes I have seen. Harris is worthless. Provides no value to the program. Does he even coach the corners? He had been focusing on then safeties prior. Our safeties have been worthless for multiple years now.

This is what people that stroke it to TBSing say. It's the same thing I heard about Strausser at OL. Tell me, is our OL better now than it was in 2016? It was what I heard about Babushka. Tell me, is our QB play and offense better now than it was when he was here? It was what I heard about Brent Pease at WR. Tell me, is our WR play better now than when Dante and Ross were here?

Recruiting means fuck all if you can't fucking coach. The performance on the field isn't just what matters most, it's ALL that matters. And none of Donte Williams's corners have performed.

OK. You'll see when our DB play is underwhelming and then some other coach will actually get players to PERFORM and then you'll be saying, "Yeah, but those were Donte's recruits" as if that means shit. As far as I can see he hasn't coached one fucking guy that can play. Show me where I'm wrong.

If they pay him as much/more than the other D coaches just to recruit and be a figurehead on the field (especially the CB/Safeties coaches) how will that play in the coaches room?

I’d think the other coaches would be happy to have someone helping them land highly talented/sought after guys for them to work with.

Why is this hard for some to wrap their head around? When Inge is going after a 5* LB from LA you think he does an in home alone? No, Donte and Deboer would go with him. You bring in the big guns to seal a deal. Donte would be the biggest gun we've had since Tosh.

apparently Inge wasn't being considered for a DC role, but as linebackers coach. My guess is he doesn't want to accept a downgrade of job title to follow DeBoer.
 
Orlondo Steinauer's season in the CFL will be over after sunday or if they win, after the Grey Cup next weekend. Something to keep an eye on

Why did he go off to the cfl? I’d imagine a big time college dc position would pay more. No one wanted to hire him after his success in Fresno?

Looks like he played a long career in the CFL. Also, Tedford coached up there so he probably specifically went to FSU to coach for Tedford.
