He'll spew some wannabe tough guy speech about loyalty, sign a 2 year max deal with a player option on the 2nd, play his 10th season and use the option, then sign a veterans max with the spurs.

There is like a 60 million dollar difference in the max money if he chills for 1 more year.

If he resigns with OKC on a short term deal to chase more money I'm okay with that. If he signs there for another five he's Kevin Durant FS.

Durant just ended his 9th year. By the end of his 9th year James had his first title in three trips to the Finals.

Boy this Curry hate is really pressing

James > Durant.

Water is wet.

I voted write in because I think he should go to the Celtics. He won't, because he's a soft little pussy and he'll stay incubated in OKC.

The Celtics would be by far the most interesting destination for him IMO. I'd love to see that happen. If he does stay in OKC I'm totally on bored with the pussy narrative.

The narrative right now is that OKC is REALLY close because they almost beat two historically good teams. However, San Antonio is really old and was more 2001 Mariners than not, and Golden State was very banged up and played like shit all series long.

They are forgetting that the same issues that doomed OKC before doomed them again. Durant sucked under pressure and Westbrook knew he had to carry the entire load. Maybe Durant stays but it will just be another disappointing season next year for them.

Westbrook and Durant carrying the load is what cost them the series. OKC loses when Durant and Westbrook play two-man ball.

Golden State is Curry's and Thompson's team, but they wouldn't be what they are without Green, Barnes, and Iguodala.

The Spurs a couple years ago had Parker and Duncan, but without Leonard and clutch gaming by Diaw and Mills the Spurs wouldn't have won it.

The Heat wouldn't have won their titles without help from Chalmers and Mike Miller.
