The Mount Rushmore of UW Huskies coaches

Jim Owens. Three Rose Bowls, won two of them, transformed west coast football in the early 1960s. Probably overstayed his welcome in the end. Retired after 18 years at 47 years of age. I interviewed him before he died. He was apprehensive but was assured I wasn't on some mission to attack him for alleged racism in the late 1960s.
Ah, I know who he is, couldn't place the face.

It took Sark 5 years to get to where Fisch just got to in year 2, and Fisch was handed a harder situation.

In Sark's 5th year he was blown out multiple times compared to 0 for Fisch and needed Tui to win his crap California bowl for him.

Oregon owned Sark.

Trending that way with Fisch, but insufficient data.

There were some losers pre Owens but no one remembers them

This is a great list post Jim Owens
When I was making the meme I thought Claude Hunt was a loser who followed Dobie in 1917. But it turned out he had a winning record overall and went 5-1 one season.
