I’d like to blame this “award” somewhere on the SEC.

But there seems to be many more. Most of the SEC, although talking shit, seems to understand their pecking order or who may be the best at any given time…

But there seems to be many out there that are worse than deranged on their status compared to the best of that year/years.

I have some interaction with an SEC “fan” regularly…from Mississippi (did not attend or graduate from any college). At the mention of "football" (or anything that even sounds like football), he is ALL things Bama..."Saban made Kirby, Kiffin, Sark ("IF he wins")"...blah, blah. He knows who they recruited and lost (Nick didn't want 'em), who they are currently recruiting, the four-deeps, and probably Bear Bryant's social security number. He named his children after former Bama stars, and has never attended an Alabma game, home or away...it's like watching Finebaum's show on steroids, unbelievable...

"Saban took it easy on Sark because he likes him"..."Saban's gonna bury Kirby this year", followed by post-game "injured players, bad calls, weather, bad coordinators"..."We will be LOADED next year", and his crowning achievement to date, "Next year we will have so much depth that our twos and threes could legit play our ones for the natty"... I want to bury him, but I find it highly amusing, from a perspective standpoint, and, I like the guy. I once asked him if he knew who Saban's college coach was, and how he began his career...when I told him, he said "Sounds familiar. Who did he coach for?"...Thank god I only care enough to hang out on a "Hobby Bored"...CSB

SEC refuses to play the Pac 12 unless it's a preseason top 3 team in their conference playing in Dallas or Atlanta.

Georgia beating a soft Oregon team last year, sure that happens anywhere anytime.
