Sprinkle with this finish and the injuries to his team is getting another year. Next year he'd have to finish as bad as Year 1 to not get a 4th year. That's how it looks like right now anyways.
Yes he is. But the question remains "WHY?". The last 7 or so (regular season) games vs expectations for those games was subpar. And, not by a little.

Sprinkle let guys walk last year. Harris was the only guy from the 24 team I hoped would stay. UW decided to pivot to Ognacevic, who was a bigger body, older player and a career superior distance shooter. He broke his foot, twice. I hope he gets a medical redshirt. Yates is the only guy that has eligibility left that shoots a lot. He was 44% on threes last year at USC and hovered somewhere around 30% this year. You’d have to imagine he’d come a little cheaper this go around. If he rises to the mean of the two years and shoots 38/39% next year he’d be good to keep around because he’s so good defensively. I’m curious to see how many guys stay. If Zoom, JJ, Muldrew, Traore, Rencher and Yates all come back that will mean they still think Sprinkle is redeemable. If there is a mass exodus then UW can officially begin sifting through resumes for after next season. The cost is currently too high to fire Sprink after two years.
