This team will be fun to watch but the big10 is loaded. Next yr will be speshul.

Don't see this very often in college basketball.

Perhaps Sprinkle finally got through to them at the break.
 
USC was down two starters. Played 7-8 guys and were gassed by the end of the game. UW said ‘hold my beer’ as they have been playing 7-8 guys for weeks and got stronger and stronger as the game went on. 26-8 run to end the game. Almost came all the way back to beat UCLA a couple days ago too. Figure out these slow starts and get on a little roll before B10 play gets going. 6’9” Serbian shows up tomorrow. 4 games to fold him into the rotation. They desperately need the extra size. Huge quad 1 win after kicking a winnable home game.

Just be healthy going into January.

you’re probably right. I don’t pay much attention to the schedule.

after the next couple Big Ten games we’ll have an idea how serious this team is.

This team isn't disciplined enough to win games like Michigan. Giving up 3 rebounds on missed free throws is garbage. I can't even wrap my head around that. The needle dicking to miss your first 10 threes is mind numbing. They had OPEN SHOTS! Knock some of them down, Christ! I'll take the turnovers against a team like this but it's all the small winning plays that these kids just can't seem to make. Sprinkle is not a great defensive coach. Their rotations suck, they can't defend a ball screen to save their lives. It's like they've never seen one before. 1.5 years in and I can say defense won't really ever be a hallmark of his teams but offensively those kids are open. Sprink can't take the shots for them. Very frustrating. UW basketball = AIDS
 
The chaos on offense looks like a rec league of guys that played high level ball 5 years ago and on defense they look like they're putting in NBA effort while Michigan got every ticky tack call except 1

You don't get calls when you suck. A few were pretty bad but it's an axiom that crosses all sports.

The freshman PG from Hawaii is a bright spot but if I were him I'd transfer the hell out of this nightmare university. It's a soccer school now. They raise a shit ton of $ for the school right?
