The Knowledge’s 🏀 UW hoops mega thread

UW played 7 healthy players today, the 8th Summerville spelled Big Franck for less than 10 minutes. Still beat Nevada by double digits. Say what you will about UW bball, but these guys are fun to watch
So what is up with the freshman Euro injury? Also, how many more impact players are coming back soon?

Steinbach and Tucker are day to day. I don’t expect either of them to play today. Ognacevic should be back in mid January. They get a 6’9” Serbian forward on December 10th. Traore is out for the year.

Thanks. So 3 impact players which will provide depth for conference play.

Team fought hard today. Down 17 at half came back and tied it up with about 8 minutes to go and ran out of gas. Colorado played 10 deep and wore the boys down. Minus two starters, I’m not happy with the outcome but the game is understandable and the team didn’t roll over. Claude isn’t up to snuff yet. He shot horribly all weekend. He’ll get better. With Hannes they win this game. With Hannes and Tucker they win comfortably. With Ognacevic they’ll look completely different. He’s the teams best shooter. Good things are coming.

Shooting bricks

Tad up to his bully ball rep, UW got pushed around in the 1st half. Buffs frontcourt is no joke, 4 guys 6’11” or better and can play. UW had no answer, Zoom, JJ and Yates were walking turnovers. JJ needs a ton of seasoning, he can’t shoot and teams just leave him alone, he’s a liability on the D right now too. Need to get healthy to see what the squad really has

Yeah, they need Steinbach. Big Frank is a 🧱 machine near the net. Water is wet.

When I tuned in it was 18-9 UW. Now it’s 21-18 UCLA.
I’ll do you all a favor and watch something on Netflix instead.
In those few minutes I was watching, UW looked shitty on offense and undisciplined at both ends.
Not impressed.

The offense is tough to watch. A lot of standing around and perimeter passing that goes nowhere.
