Which kind of begs the question - has the cancel culture/doublethinks banned the use of "Negro Leagues" as it relates to historical baseball teams?
Is there something else that is supposed to be used instead? Honest question - I don't know what's allowable.

Asian food is kind of a weird term lol.
I know asian cooking is a term. But I dont know if Ive ever heard the term "asian food". Its always chinese food or thai food or something.

Closest is perhaps Asian fusion. But not surprisingly, Asia is a big place and there is a big difference in food from different places. Personally, not a big fan of Asian fusion but love all kinds of "Asian" food. Not a huge fan of Korean food, but love Japanese sushi and sashimi and tempura. Also, not keen on curry, which is widely present in some Asian foods (Thai) due to the number of Indians throughout parts of Asia. I agree that I would never say let's go get some Asian food, but then we don't live in the food desert known as the Midwest. Great people but limited (but growing) food opportunities.
