I hear Rowe is gonna flip

I hear he’s flipping over how much Oregon is paying him because it was so much more than UW.
Been busy but where is it coming from this guy got offered more money late from Oregon? It just seems like an easy reaction when in truth the kid/his agents may have just been fishing for Oregon the whole time anyway. I noticed my dumbest/douchiest friend randomly sent me a reel in IG of that recruit being hyped up right after his UW criscoball so assume he probably mined out the biggest offer he could get from UW and then his agent/etc started pumping up the hype machine and used it to get recruited by someone else.

UW mostly seems to get top guys out of region, and even out west, if there is some connection to the program or staff and not sure if there is one here.

Rumor on the dead internet from other schools that recruited him was that he was looking for the biggest bag of cash. UW had a really big one until his Oregon visit and then he decided UW’s wasn’t quite big enough. Just a guess on my part though. If they’re saving that cash for Nonu and Ioane up front then I’m fine with getting outbid. If UW’s offer for Rowe was bigger than Oklahomas then I’m hoping they can secure at least one top name edge type player before everything is wrapped up. Lots of time left.

Yeah, I'm a little bit wary of the just got a big bag endless excuse. There's plenty of reasons a recruit, especially one from out of region would choose Oregon over UW right now and my thought would be just recruiting guys who want the biggest bag, especially this early in the process, is tough for UW. It's hard, but it's always seemed that guys from outside of the state who choose UW over similar-tiered schools have unique reasons and I don't see one here. Seems like a guy who leveraged UW. High school recruits still choosing Oregon is pretty awful. They've been exceptional at portal recruiting under Lanning and most of their top high school recruits haven't been busts, but underachieved.
