Does this mean ugly won’t be seen or heard from again?

I stay out of the city as much as possible but i haven't seen a wheat field in Honolulu in my 44 years there. Also, I think the density of Honolulu is a bit higher than Ritzville or Colfax but I won't spoil your unsubstantiated and wholly unsupportable beliefs.
People forget that for years Colfax has the highest number of millionaires per capita than anywhere in the world. People forget that.

Forever linked. The guy who can't recruit and the great recruiter

I do believe in the long run being efficient will pay off. In 2 years when the players collectively bargain LSU will be screwed that they can drain their state retirement fund for a DT but UW has a track record of evaluation and coaching.

Iowa will win a natty in 2031

I think something eventually changes, but counting on it does not seem wise. The big spenders and win at all cost type programs will still find a way.

Maybe. Saban quit cause he couldnt coffee cup his way to the natty anymore. There's a half dozen teams that went all in and didn't make the natty this year I don't think any program can afford to shake down their fans year after year

That sells him far too short. He won at Michigan State, he won big at LSU (including an NC), and he won massively big at Alabama (6 NC's).

Recalibrate your sensors that was hyperbole for the best CFB HC in history. Nonetheless he absolutely quit because he didn't want any part of this era of football which I don't blame him for
