The Fisching Report Recruiting Thread Sponsored by The Fisch Bowl

I naturally assume UWs players are slightly underrated based off of actual on field results.
The same players that sign with UW get bumps when they flip to certain other teams. One example on the field is Bernard on Bama. Absolutely mid to decent athlete than no ones cried about when he left but now that he's in crimson ESPN can't stop gushing about his gadgety 6 yard runs and the elite WR of him and Williams of whom I wouldn't trade UWs WRs for

We're supposed to believe that poor old Worshington can't compete with blue bloods like Oregon
DeBoer can't recruit
Washington 15th with blue bloods like North Carolina
There is a lesson here but it will fly away
Boner didn’t actually walk into a place that’s difficult to recruit, most dominant program of every single recruits entire life and each of their 2 dads since junior was doing laps in his sack.
Now we're getting closer
So explain why Washington can't be Oregon and why Lanning isn't at LSU
Poor old Worshington
I’m not exactly sure what you’re asking that I’m missing? Lanning has a war chest UW doesn’t due to Nike and daddy warbucks. Definitely less expectations about winning a natty and I’m guessing many duck fans enjoying winning the yearly off season natty with recruiting classes. Much more pressure to win at LSU because their entire state seems all in and maybe Danny likes his dealer in Eugene.
I myself wish you were a multi billionaire so we could have paid Boner enough to stay because he was a great HC. Fisch definitely seems to be a better recruiter on an apples to apples comparison but he falls short of Boner obviously as a proven head coach. Since it looks like we are stuck with Jed I guess all we can do is hope for the best at this point and he focuses more on being the HC for the entire team and gives up play calling for the good of the team. Since this is doubtful I was hoping someone like Florida or ucla would bail us out.
Pressing reboot and having a repeat of Jan.10 2024 wasn’t going to be a pleasant experience.

What everyone is missing
Why is Oregon there with the blue bloods looking like an annual playoff contender without even a whisper about Dan leaving?
Why isn't Washington and why do our fans immediately pull out the cuck chair when Bama sniffs around
No kid gives a fuck about Saban or Bear Bryant
Washington makes excuses while winners are winning
The fish is rotted from the head

Get in line Grandpa, Doog army continues to march forward under General PGOS. I’ll save you a spot on the O in Eugene next season

Bernard played over Boston in 2023. Williams had a big freshman year and is still good. What WR’s on UW do you think are better than them? Maybe Boston. That’s it.

I do think Roebuck will be a big time WR, but he also had to play so much because the WR room isn’t very good. I think it needs a transfer so we aren’t relying on a bunch of #2 and #3 types.

One group had Deboer/Grubb and another "Heisman QB"
The other had dirt ball Demond and the dijon hoodie

Ty Simpson has gone downhill
Better get right for Georgia
Ryan Williams didn't play in the Iron Bowl
Some true freshman had three touchdown catches

Can I go on the record that Bernard is very good? Having him on UW the last two years would have been huge, especially teamed with Boston. I think he's a touch overrated and soft. He sat the fuck out of the national title game?!?!?! And has some fumblitis but he's a major talent. Also, you'll notice programs like Ohio State, Bama, etc are better about scheming ways to win games than relying on one player to put up huge stats and when you have multiple NFL talent guys you can spread it around. See Egbuka the past couple of years. I read that wrong.
Also on record, I'd take Boston over Bernard, but pointing to Bernard as an example of overrated isn't good.

Sorry to clarify I wasn't saying he wasnt good but back to the point of recruiting rankings it's just an example of a guy that didn't get any attention (even on this site) and when he goes to Alabama he suddenly becomes a game changing playmaker that the broadcast creams over
High 3 star commits to Washington then flips to Bama and is suddenly a blue chip and "look at how these national championship teams are built with the blue chip ratio" becomes self fulfilling

That's a big one. This offense needs a couple of bigger WR. Boston is probably gone and the 6'4" WR from before…was it Justice Williams?... didn't ever seem like a sure thing. High potential but low floor too.
