The Fisching Report Recruiting Thread Sponsored by The Fisch Bowl

Who cares about Shwerzel? He wants to play school in California for loser programs. That is confirmed twice over. Ramzak is the local kid I want and he’s visiting for Illinois. Beat Bulimia and get a commit from this kid and I’m feeling pretty good again.
He is a prospect at a position that we have sucked at recruiting for the last few years. If we can do better so be it, it doesn't appear that we are doing better though.

If Shwerzel outperforms the diamond in the rough, Muay Thai champion from Renton that UW got then I’ll concede my argument. Chances are, even if he does, no know will know because he’s playing for Stanford.

I love that we're being selective at a position we suck at. If the plan is to get high performers out of the portal we know how that has turned out too.

schwertzel may suck. He may not. But it's someone we wanted before and now he is signing with a shit program. Hopefully they are landing someone better but given The track record of the position I won't hold my breath. Prove me wrong Jed.

Lavender from a TBS perspective was arguably our lowest rated DB recruit I believe
Could be a sign that there may be a better play in play
Could be a sign that Fisch is heading to LA
Could be non of the above
Who knows

either way, it’ll be interesting.
Chunteresting?🤔🤔

call me WDWA doog but don’t give a shit about Schwerzel. Pretty obvious him and the EC LB want to play school.
Don’t like the sign Lavender flipping could suggest but random 3 star DBs are some of my least favorite recruits. Feels like they grow on trees out west and can’t remember the last one we got who was worth a shit. Probably Sidney Jones.

Pedo State lost their qb recruit per espn, top uncommitted pocket passer #9 from Cali. Had been committed since 2024. He could sit a year behind Demond and start as a RSFr.

VOTT
Both our true freshman QB's looked good in Spring, and Zammit comes in next year as well. If Demond stays, he's got at least 2 more years here.
Cals freshman QB that ESPN fucking loves for some reason lost the state player of the year in Hawaii to Kini McMillan who happens to run third string at UW. I think he was a really great get last year. More so than the Mater Dei kid.
I think ESPN has ACC games and with Cal out west it might make sense for them to hype Cal’s QB since Cal will be ESPNS best late game or Friday game a lot.
Also he signed and committed to Oregon for bowl practice or something then left? I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an agreement that he just transfers to Oregon if and when they need a QB and he’s good enough. Moore was similar and would make sense why then neither of those guys went to better programs as freshmen.
