Anything higher than a 15 finish is a win but won’t happen I’m guessing 19-22 ranked class which isn’t good enough.

You are way too stuck on the rankings. Even then Petersen classes which the majority of the country would have killed for were in the teens.

Good class for the skill positions on both sides of the ball. Offensive line will look good if we get the kid from midland. QB is fine but who knows?
DL and LB is a problem and the coaches are on the clock. That is on Fisch to fix but those assistants appear to the worthless at acquiring talent.

So peterman was a developer. Took him a minute but winners wanted to be with winners and he was winning so his 15-ish classes became the expectation.

Debonner took petermans man and a few key transfers and motivated the fuck outta them.

Both earned the benefit of doubt. (But still fuck debonner, don’t twist.)

What has visor boy done to earn fan confidence in his abilities to do either? He just keeps talking about being a pro.

Dude, if you’re looking for star stacking orgasms you need to follow Oregon. UW has outperformed all of the west coast schools in almost every meaningful metric since Petermen. I would say since DeBoer left we are getting back in the saddle. We? Will lose a couple head scratchers, beat OSU and Oregon this year and recruiting will take another bump up. Fisch turned one of the worst programs in the country into a 10 win team. He had a bad situation last year and still should've won 8 games. He is getting his reads down.

How long did Peterlips hold on to dead recruiters? Kafusi’s been with Judd for how long, sucks at recruiting and is still here.

Kafusi is not a good recruiter. I’ve gone back on him a ways and he’s never closed anyone highly sought after. Only Uiungalalalala has remotely outplayed his meager HS ranking. Not recruiting at a super high level at a highly sought out position at a place like Arizona after 1-11 could be forgiven.This will be year 2 of Kafusi struggling at UW. He’s not gonna close Uma-Cais and that should be the final nail in his coffin if Judd is interested in competing for playoff spots. Let 2025 play out and then move on. If that doesn’t happen, Fishlips ain’t the guy.

Seems like we're almost full as Doogman would say. Grades thus far:
QB - B+ seemed like a terrible class, especially out west and got a guy I think DeBoard wanted?
RB - A Bonner is the best rated RB they've gotten since who? Throw in Sanoe and Pollard possibly as well
WR - B- James is a good pull and seemed very high on their board. This is a loss though if they can't snag another 4-star WR though given how many there are out west.
TE - F Northwest TEs are underrated, but we are basically taking a preferred walk-on and that's it at a position where we are one of the best in the nation traditionally
OL - B+ Need to not move the goalposts on signing Greene - guy would be a solid 5* if he was still committed to another school. Harris is good as well. Needed a second guy like Utu to get this to an A though
DT - F See TE
DE/EDGE - B Colman-Brusa is a lot like Greene. Need another splash here though especially since we brought in around 5 4* guys on visits.
LB - C- seems like we're taking layups and best case now is getting the Stanford guy to flip back
DB - B doing a decent job here of hitting doubles, though would love a home run

I looked. Most of the SEC schools have already surged ahead of UW while the early clubhouse leaders like Rutgers and Minnesota who were way up because of large numbers are down. South Carolina is the only team that seems like they could still fly by UW, they have like 9 recruits and a player rating well over 90. I think the Huskies are actually around 18 or 19th in average rating. It’s a good class, just no run stuffers or big time TE’s.

O'Dea guys feel like a miss, especially since they are both guys who could move inside. I also in general want almost any instate guy who is at least a high 3*.
DT feels like a perfect storm. We actually have a lot of potential good ones on the roster (though lacking youth). It feels like a position that's hard to project and staffs might be ok with leaning on the portal harder. There's very very few out west so they come at a premium. The Colorado DT is interesting because given the market it seems like bigger schools should be on him, but they're not. Wouldn't be surprised if he's a guy schools take a flyer on late (see Oklahoma already coming in).
There's a 6'2 360 DT who looks like a cartoon from SoCal committed to Arizona who I feel like we're going to swoop around on because stealing Arizona commits things like a Judd thing.

Umu-Cais (the Colo. DT) reached out to Oklahoma about a month ago after visiting Washington. He had been to a camp with them but they weren't really actively recruiting him.
If he was into us, I don't see why he'd be asking other programs to recruit him after our visit.

Kafusi cant sell. Not sure he can coach that well either. The fact that he hasn't pulled a single Utah high school recruit with his connections there makes him even more worthless.
Paopao has always been worthless getting talent. Was gifted some good in state recruits and did okay with them.
LB coach also appears to be a negative as well for talent acquisition. I like Tokio but he missed on a couple of other layups.

None of them seem like they should be coaching at this level.
