So if any of the other offensive lineman that visited wanted to commit I’m sure Carrol told them to fuck off so they could get the local kid and his brother. They only had room for 2 or 3, or so I’m told. Those other prospects were brought in for visual purposes only. There to hype up the visit lists. Carrol didn’t strike out with those kids, it was a plan all along. This young man may end up being great and his brother looks legit but to say UW didn’t want 4-5 HS offensive lineman in this class is being kind to Brennan Carrol.

It doesn't excuse his performance, for sure. But the TBSers on Twitter think his tape doesn't line up with just being a 3 ⭐ at all. Which is why the whole system is fs.

I told the NBA to fuck off in 2008 so it's no surprise I haven't heard that nickname or have drowned its memory in a pool of tears.
 
Obviously I hope that’s the case. His brother is a really nice looking prospect as well. It would defiantly get 2026 started off right for sure if he commits early.

We already have Ansu Sanoe in the 2026 class, who has offers from Georgia, Miami, Oregon, Tennessee, and TAMU
But yeah, getting Derek would help carry the moment as the 2025 class is almost complete
