Yes but he never had nearly that high of a hit rate in all his years at Boise state. I did the analysis on that years ago.
He signed a good class on short notice including closing Buddha. But we also got lucky. As you need to do to make the playoffs especially with such a low blue chip recruit ratio.

Per 247's rankings, the last time we got the #1 player in state was 2018 (Kyler Gordon). The last time we got the top 2 (which we have now) was 2015 (we got the top 4)
 
Am I the only one with a semi-doog at the moment? Some beef on either side of the ball would likely put me over the top.

If they can keep the guys they have committed and fill out with a 3-4 of the better guys they have on the hook and some solid 3 stars, I'll definitely doog.

I’m at semi-doog right now. The last couple weeks has been pretty positive. I didn’t think we were getting Sharma or Grey Pupon, so those didn’t really deflate my doog chub much.

I’m not on cloud 9 like some of you doogies but finishing with the remaining four would be acceptable in my books.
I’d like to see an unexpected crootin victory for a guy not on the above list.

Carrol landed 2 out of 7 kids he wanted. Again, I’d be willing to bet they’d have taken 4 or 5 of them if they’d wanted to come. They didn’t. BC also struck out pretty hard in the portal. Yes, it’s a small sample size and that’s all I have to judge Carrol on for now. I will also change my opinion next year if he brings in 7 HS kids on visits and lands 5 of them. You’re LIPO. I’m, this guysm sucks at recruiting until he doesn’t. Both of us are cool we just sit in different camps. Agree to disagree. No harm, no foul.
