I will acknowledge a few things:
(1) DeBoer is going to be very successful at Alabama for the same reason he would've kept being very successful at UW: he's won a ton everywhere he's ever coached.
(2) His time at UW is over, and I have mercifully been very successful at quickly shifting to think of him the same way I think about Ryan Day (i.e., aside from him being in the media a lot as a head coach of a top tier program-or chronically appearing in posts at HcH-I don't think about him at all).
HOWEVER, he has aggrieved me, and I'm not just gonna let a perfectly good grievance go fully unused. Therefore, as one might with an ex-girlfriend who finds happiness with someone new, I reserve the right to be as petty as I want if his winning at Alabama strikes a nerve.

I guess he is from SoCal but when you have the chance to go to the Big 12 or one of the biggest dumpster fires in college football in USC you just have to.

Assuming DeBoer is going to fail and fail miserably is sour grapes. I will say when I see video of him he certainly has a different energy around him. He seems way more tighter and awkward and that's not a great sign.
