The Fisching Report Recruiting Thread Sponsored by The Fisch Bowl

And?
Lincoln has never had a losing season and has multiple playoff teams
Whoever said PGOS would be back after beating the 2 worst power 5 teams going was right

Nobody wants Lincoln here. And he's better than Fisch just like Fickel was
That's the point that continues to fly over your head
Fisch has never done anything. Period
Stop ripping coaches that are better than him and start demanding better from UW doog

As of now check the records doog
Their coach sucks so it ok that our coach sucks

I don’t think he sucks. It might not be fast enough for you, but if he stays, we will get good. Things are moving in the right direction. Thinking we would win 11+ games this year was dooging.

I don’t know what everyone else predicted but an 8-4 or 9-3 regular season was exactly where I thought we would be.

I hope you don’t become Damone and pretend like anything short of a national championship is sucking. He was still doing this bullshit in 2022 when many, myself included were hyped about Deboer from very early on.

At Arizona Fisch went from 1 win, to 5, to 10. So far here he’s gone from 6, at least 8, and we’ll see next year. He needs to win 10 and he will. We aren’t getting worse. We are better everywhere than last year. Same thing will happen next year.

Race has been doing exactly that for the better part of two years. He thinks the floor is an 11-2 DeBoer first year season lol.

Don't compare Fisch to Cig or DeBoer because they don't suck
Compare him to coaches who suck and make excuses and need more time and a few more exhibition seasons and someday he may not be so young
Losers.
25-3 coming off of 4-8 is the standard. If you don't see that then what are we doing
You guys are in Don James never had to face an Arizona that was serious about football territory to protect Ty
Same shit different day
If he didn't suck you wouldn't be pulling out the greatest hits for coaches who suck

Here’s why I’m not sold on Fisch. He’s left 3 wins on the table: WSU & Rutgers last year and Wisconsin this year. You could maybe add Michigan this year.

Someone pointed out the metrics this year look like the 2015 Peterman team and Peterman definitely left a couple wins on the table in 2014-15. Im not saying Fisch is Peterman so don’t twist.
We have Fisch for another year. Many signs are pointing up but we still have Fisch and there’s something about him that’s just a touch sloppy.

A reasonable fan can look at this year’s schedule, though, and conclude that it turned out to be baby soft.
More than two losses is a disappointment. Even if three or four losses looked acceptable at the beginning of the year.

Like many a Duck fan's mom, we are stuck between and rock and a hard place. Fisch has in no way earned an extension but the coaching carousel is so massive and shitty he seems to be a candidate for jobs and the next 1-2 years even if we hire a great coach will always assuredly be worse if we have to get a new coach. This isn't 2022 where we have guys like Odunze, etc on the roster and the QB portal pool isn't nearly as good since covid years are gone.
Fisch leaving after 2026 or 27 would be best and if it's an NFL job somehow.

As of now Lincoln is not better than Fisch lol
5 year plan to go 8-3
Lincoln isn’t a good comparison with Fisch although I’m skeptical of Jed. Lincoln was born on 3rd base at Oklahoma taking over for Stoops. He didn’t build that program and he didn’t do anything significant in the PAC except bring SC another Heisman to Heritage Hall. His biggest achievement as a head coach is signing Caleb and bringing him to SC.

Since this is recruiting, let's remember that Fisch and staff are doing a very good job in recruiting. I definitely appreciate his and the staff's ability to get some big DAWGs while also identifying rising talent early and getting on them.
Two years ago, they kept Finau in the fold (who has been vital this year), have Rahshawn Clark flashing often this season, kept Decker DeGraaf in the fold (get him the ball!), and found transfers Bryce Butler and Deshawn Lynch (both who have been a part of the DL's improvement).
For the 2025 class, it has already yielded two starters (John Mills and Dezmond Roebuck), others who are playing significant snaps (ZRS, Dylan Robinson, Champ T., RDA, RVB, and Chris Lawson).
The 2026 class is the staff's best yet and they may be able to flip the stud WR committed to Baylor on December 3rd. They are missing a stud pass rasher but I do like the DE committed to West Virginia and
Today I heard that UW had an extension ready for Fisch for after the Wisconsin game, assuming he won @ Wisconsin but he obviously didn't so it was shelved.
As a previous poster mentioned, the Wisconsin loss was very bad and arguably the worst of his Husky tenure. All would be forgiven if he beats Oregon but I don't think that will happen so he's looking at 8-4 which is what I thought UW's regular season record would be.
If Chun is good, he will be prepared for A, B, and C scenarios after tomorrow: UW wins (possible not not likely), UW loses in a close-ish game (most likely), and UW gets blown out (least likely):
For A: 9-3 regular season is extend worthy in my opinion. Offer a 2 year extension and $2 million more per year.
For B: Give him a raise of $500,000 for a 2 win improvement and maybe even keep a 1 year extension on the table and $1 million raise if the bowl game is a good win.
For C: Do nothing because the spread isn't indicating a bad loss at home
"BOO, HISS. SNARL. You suck HFNY!" I'm ready for your rotten tomatoes and your heavily bruised avocados.

At this point, Fisch might be the best candidate for UW because he’s recruiting @ a high level. Chins should have an extension for him and Walters to keep them both. Losing this class would be dreadful. Despite Races claim there are better out there, or anyone but Fisch for that matter, UW is better tomorrow keeping Fisch than hiring an also ran or some low school HC trying to catch lightning in a bottle. IF Fisch does bolt, I’m calling Chins will hire Wilcox.
