The Exhibition Season is Over

I think it is more likely that Cignetti is coaching Florida than Fisch
Beating tOSU as #1 is big, hopefully Florida will pay attention because I would love that swap!
The problem with Fish leaving for any job is that Demond would be gone too. Our future success all hinges on Demond. Head coaches have even more leverage now with the current portal rules. "You don't want to meet my contract demands? Cool. I'll leave for another job and decimate your roster and recruiting in the process."

Team complaining that we spend way more money than them. Never thought I'd see the day.

Demond is the real deal. I think he probably has a clunker or two this year because the OL won’t hold up, but he’s an amazing talent. He’s got to prove it, but he’s Penix level. I haven’t watched any QB’s that I would say with certainty that I would rather have.

I don’t know how an AP voter could watch UW’s offense and not have them in their top 25. We didn’t even receive any votes.

Penix is the best passer I've seen in college.
Tap the breaks.

He is. He also goes long stretches without doing much.

Demond and Penix are also just completely different beats in different offenses with different personal and Demond needs to improve as a passer. On the opening drive Demond has Boston for the easiest of easy TDs down the middle and threw a terrible pass. Boston was frustrated on the sideline after.

He can and likely will get better. He also takes some unnecessary sacks. Point is, he’s an elite talent and potentially one of the best players in the country. I’m sold.

My only concern with Demond is some of those plays where he has 3-5 seconds of time in the pocket and can't find anywhere to go with the ball. Obviously can't see anything down field on TV but it happened a fair bit to the point I'm sure someone was getting open

He also needs to learn his legs aren’t getting him out of every dirty pocket. Live to fight another day play.

therein lies the point, they haven’t watched a single udub snap; not one of them

That's the annoying part. Peterson didn't care what the score looked like so he'd win every game by 12 points but Fish is running it up for the scoreboard watchers and still isn't getting respect
