Los Angeles police not giving tickets for nonessential travel

“I don’t know why that rumor is going around. Our agency is not doing that at all whatsoever. Nobody has been doing spot checks when it comes to that,” Deputy Ed Luna, a spokesman with the LASD told the AP in a phone call.

You pretended that such papers were never issued.
