Moss is right in that Helfrich teams even struggled with scrimmages, because the defense was so so bad.

But still a scrimmage. Wyoming and Nebraska will give the average fan an idea of what we have in Willie Lyles-Taggart
 
Southern Utah is a bad D2 team (or whatever they are called these days). Not much to gleam from this game, will know a lot more after next week. Was nice to not get gashed for 8 YPC by a bad D2 team for the first time in a few years, though.
 
My biggest takeaway was Taggart wasn't crazy enough to find out what would happen if he let second-string center Doug Brenner snap the ball. So disappointed.
