It's great she's gone. I assume pressure mounted in Jen and they showed her the door but who knows? Either way it's a bad mark in Jen's resume that she employed someone so out of touch in such an important position.
 
It helps to have a coaching staff that you know you aren't wasting your money on.

It does not help when other schools can pay too and their coach isn't a fucking asshole that runs a 1980's NFL offense and loses to Montana.

She spent like 2 straight months in Eugene at the various track events there in may-June (while working for UW), then took a job in track and field. Best guess would be she saw the writing on the wall and found a new gig on her own terms instead of waiting for the axe
