SMU is a stone cold lock. The ESPN projection had 2 loss Penn State ahead of 1 loss ND and the two loss Ohio State team they lost to at home and nobody batted an eyelash it was such an obvious, foregone conclusion. They are not dropping 11-2 SMU out and replacing them with a 9-3 team that didn't even make their CCG. Helmetosity goes a long way, yet still only so far.

Miami is out. If Clemson wins, the field is set. The committee is completely off the hook.
 
So if Texas beats Georgia then the Dawgs have 3 losses, one of them to Bama and one to Ol Miss, the other 3 loss teams
Do they fall out of the playoffs?
 
SEC will get four in. Via bribes or just ignorance. Probably a bit of column a and a bit of column b…

They can rig elections. They can certainly rig subjective oval ball playoffs…

I sort of do as well… only because I can see the pressure to bump them for Bama which is a disgrace.

It's a disgrace, and it will happen. CFP needs to sell tickets and get big ratings. NOGAF about SMU.
