Texas, Oklahoma are SEC-bound in 2024. How will they stack up in football?

No idea how something like this will resonate here but it’s what we are dealing with in the SEC.

The divorce is final.

In 19 months, Oklahoma and Texas will officially play football as SEC members. The 2023 football season will be their last in the Big 12 after the schools, the conference and its television partners reached an agreement Thursday to allow the two schools to exit a year earlier than originally scheduled.

In July 2021, when the original move was announced, few thought they’d have to wait even that long. The teams’ fans, alumni and school officials would have loved to get out sooner than this and not even spend the coming season in a 14-team Big 12, in which Texas must travel to former Southwest Conference rival Houston and Oklahoma makes road trips to BYU and Cincinnati. Oklahoma and Texas are both currently middling programs. It's going to be a rough inaugural year. Could be the last season for Sark

As are at least half of the current SEC programs. They will fit right in with Missouri, Vandy, Kentucky, Texas AtM, Floriduh, South Carolina, Arky and Auburn.

Don’t know how TX is really feeling it except for SECRant debauchery but OU has the mentality they about to win SECCG quick and then NCS.

Puh. Good luck, fkstk Sooners. ..Another team from another conference coming in and “ruling” the SEC is about as Fucked up as one can imagine. I’m on it..
