Tetairoa McMillan, 2022 4* WR, Anaheim (Servite), CA (Offered)

The complete and utter domination by Oregon coaches over the Washington coaches on the recruiting trail is hard to fathom. Is Jimmy still puttering around on the lake?

2003-2021
Series Wins: Oregon-14, UW-3
Conference Titles: Oregon-6, UW-2
Playoff Wins: Oregon-1, UW-0
NY6 Bowls: Oregon- 8, UW 2

Hard to sell that.

UW has a lot of advantages over Oregon. And leverages none of them, seemingly

LIST UW ADVANTAGES, alleged Duck fan. BE SPECIFIC.

Before you do, how are the Dawgs doing in the NIL deal department, dumb fuck?

Are you aware of what’s happening at Oregon?
Tell me about the players that already have NIL deals. How many?

Football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, etc.?

Why do you think Oregon is suddenly doing so well in recruiting, DUMB FUCK?

College football is rapidly changing (not for the better). Oregon is taking advantage of the new rules.

Thibodeaux alone has negotiated deals totaling over $600,000. One is a six-figure contract for autographs; a deal with United Airlines: etc.

Kids don’t give a fuck about academics if they can make money . . . Shocking!

Either recruits are aware of what’s happening or Oregon is using it as a recruiting tool.

More “shit positing”, eh?

FUCK OFF!!!

Seattle>Eugene for most young kids
SeaTac>Eugene for direct flight options
Wealthier alumni, although most of them aren’t engaged by the AD enough to care
Better job opportunities in tech/non-sports business
Academis
Better nfl success in the last 10 years

The above aren’t even debatable—and also depend on the type of kid being recruited. Oregon has just as many advantages over UW, if not more (facilities, Nike, NIL, recent success, equipment, national brand). All I was saying was that the advantages UW has over Oregon, they don’t leverage properly, if at all. And luckily for Oregon, that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon.

Keep living in your bubble though where Oregon is superior than UW in every single aspect.

Good post . . . I don’t believe Oregon is superior
In every single aspect . . . Not even close.

You did a great job outlining the positives of both programs.

I apologize . . . and agree UW does not properly leverage the advantages they have, particularly the wealthier alumni.

Loser lose

The best part of this story is that their new OC Dillingham pulled a move that Jimmy Lake would be proud of. He tweeted out something like "You don't have to sign your letter of intent. Just sign scholarship papers and think it over."

It was clearly aimed at this kid but he can't actually contact him due to the dead period so he just tweeted that out as if was a PSA for all high school kids. The kid signed with Arizona shortly afterwards and the tweet was deleted.

Oregon’s program is now in the hands of a very old man and 3 children. I’m sure it’s going to go super well.

It's also special that their interim HC is likely working on recruiting kids away from Oregon so that they can play for him and Mario next year
