With the Budda about to pick UW it seems, I proclaim with all my Doog Self that CP can recruit. He's taken verbals from Arizona, Oregon State, WSU, Colorado and with Budda, Oregon in this class. The fence appears to be up as well.

He is not fucking around. CP is one bad ass motherfucker.
 
Why do you hate UCLA (McIntosh), Boise State (too many), Vanderbilt (Carta-Samuels), Utah (Jones) and Yale (Richey)?

Just looking at our list, 15 of Pete's 18 commits are flips from other schools. And we have 5 OL and 5 DL. Pete gets football.
 
All that and we still have the 37th ranked class. Still weak.

That ranking means fuck-all. It's based on total points. Sark inflated his recruiting rankings by taking huge classes full of the same kind of players doogs like you have criticized Petersen for. As a side note he had to kick his own recruits out of the program at a ridiculous rate to keep making room for these huge classes.

Petersens first class will have an average star rating right at 3.0, which is better (by far) than Sark's first class as well as his 2012 class (by a smaller margin). Sarkisian was a great recruiter though. Everyone says so.

It was like 85th when he took over.

Getting this class into the top 40 took a borderline miracle. If he adds Baker this is a homerun class given the slash and burn job Sark did and the fact we kept ZERO of the former administration's assistants.

Getting these linemen is the best thing Petersen has done during his short tenure at the UW. Sark would have continued to fuck this up if he was still here.

transition year, and with Budda and maybe 1 more it would be borderline top 25.
Considering he's has a month and a half it's pretty damn good

 
I think everyone here except the, "LELZ he WeNtt 8-4 this year wut A POS" knew this guy could recruit, or at the very least take marginal talent and coach it into what it has been at BSU. The real question, whether doog or dawg or fucktard (doog), is whether he could salvage the non-recruiting Sark did this year. Even without Budda he's proven himself.
 
I do have to chuckle at the fact that Sark still hasn't gotten a recruit since January 6 and we have picked up 3 4 star guys the last week.

Like the NFL draft, reality is it depends on how you coach the kids, something Sark never learned.

It will be interesting to see how this finishes up, but I'm stoked to see what Pete can do with OKGs.
 
But I was hearing coach Pete had to retain a few of Sark's assistants or recruiting would be a total disaster. Just what I was hearing. Learn the fucking difference.
