There aren't many things I love more in life than fried razor clams. I've only dug them myself a few times but in my fishing heyday I traded fish for a couple of limits every year.

Never cared much for mussels. All the rest are delicious - but oysters are way better in the winter than in the summer months.

I love oysters, but I can’t eat them raw anymore, b/c I’m old…lightly breaded, this morning…Hangtown Fry (alleged to be California’s first cuisine), ‘cause it’s my birthday…GET OFF MY LAWN, and TURN THAT RACKET DOWN!

I'll eat clam chowder and that's about it. Scallops are okay, but bland. Most of these are bland, in my experience. Need lots of butter and cream, etc.

@BleachedAnusDawg you need to expand beyond The Keg Steakhouse in Lynwood and go to a REAL seafood eatery.

I actually like seafood (fish, prawns, etc), but am never inclined to go to a seafood restaurant. Same thing with Italian food. Love it, but seems pointless to spend money on when it's easy to do at home.

If we're talking raw seafood, though, I am OUT.

I voted scallops but love them all - Oysters at Chesters Tavern, used to go to McCormick's and Schmick's for happy hour and 1/2 price bowl of mussels, was at Little Eagle casino for a seafood buffet and made 5 trips to fill my plate with razor clams, had a geoduck in a paper bag, sitting with the bag on my lap and asked the barmaid to reach in the bag and tell what it was. That joke worked all night, made chowder later.

If any pole needed a bun dance, this was it.

Edit: Scallops for fine dining
