We talked right before kickoff of the Michigan State game, which was the first time in 30 years. He told me how Michigan State was gonna put a whoopin on the sorry ass Poodles.

Didn't hear from him again until he left me a message two days ago.

I remember when Christmas came when we were roommates. I was 20 years old. It didn't even occur to me that we were going to get each other presents. He set out out a wrapped gift, which ended up being a nice Michigan sweatshirt. I quietly rushed out Christmas eve or morning to 7-11 and bought him a bunch of Chips-Ahoy.

No, your roommate with a male name spelled in a way that might be considered feminine reminded me of the old classic with Pup's totally real girlfriend whose name had a masculine spelling. I sensed a good joke in there tying the two together, but I just couldn't come up with it.
