Taking A Look At The Incoming Transfer Class

Demario King should be healthy for 2023, Goforth is transferring in, and Bryant and Whitney are freshmen.

I could see another portal or two to provide actual depth since LB is prone to injuries and durability issues after a full season

I don’t think there is any reason to suggest he will be good. Not saying he is done, don’t twist. He has not shown up on special teams or any where to suggest he is waiting in the wings. The staff hasn’t been moving him up the Depth or anything.

I feel like if you look around the conference at sacks and TFLs for true linbackers, they were way down this year. I think it's also why you're seeing such higher yards per-carry, because offenses use their scheme to pull the LBs back and then run and most college LBs suck at tackling a RB in the open field.

Another Kris Moll type would be perfect. If they can't find the right fit, it wouldn't be the end of the world if DeMario King and Austin Hartineaux were the #5 and #6 LBs if it meant preserving the redshirts of Bryant and Whitney.

That's another way to say it. I feel like it's more intense than that this year though. I feel like I don't even see the LBs in a lot of games like they're not there.

Also, overall with the transfers. I feel like we've seen a couple doubles and some nice singles. I was hoping with what the program showed this year we'd see a home run or a triple - think Jordan Addison to USC, but maybe that's expecting too much.

Maybe also expecting to much but am holding out hopes for one of the recent five stars who left the state to come back.

I think you have Harnetauix confused with someone else. He was barely a three star who didn't receive a scholly offer from any P5 schools. He'll be a second year walk-on next year.

He was a PWO at Wisconsin. The Times listed him as a red chip that was committed to Wisconsin but didn’t stipulate what his actual status was. I actually thought he had a scholarship to Wiscy for a long time until he flipped to UW as a PWO. No way do you turn down a full ride unless you never had one. He’s probably on par with the kid from Bellevue that’s been third string for a few years.
