She is through roof excited….so I got 48 hours to create fake enthusiasm and make this a memorable day.

On Saturday…..really want to create a sign for the Dawg Walk

THIS IS MY FIRST HUSKY GAME! COACH LAKE IS THIS YOUR LAST?”

Oh fuck, that’s so cute. Plus kids at seven typically can’t read fake excitement.

Better take a face less picture with that sign.

Pic or gtfo.

Don't go. Attending is complicity.

Little Piss wants to fly up from Wakanda for a game and I'm on the fence.

'we?'re' flyin up for the ucla game during UEA.

just gonna be pumped to sit in a cool stadium, drinkin a nice microbrew, and watching a GOOD bruins team curbstomp UW.

I was just about your daughter’s age when I went to my first Husky and Seahawks games, and like her I was SO EXCITED.

If I can give parents any advice, don’t worry about what actually happens on the field. Your daughter is probably not going to remember the score or even who played…what they’ll remember is how the experience *felt*. I LOVED picking out my little purple and gold outfit, and my parents treated me to a set of pom poms from the team shop. We toured campus beforehand and the UW alums in our group entertained me with fun stories. Etc. You at least have control of those aspects of game day.

And I gotta tell ya, sometimes the most entertaining games for me were when our team was losing. Seeing my parents and other fans around me get worked up into a white hot rage was both very funny and kinda heartwarming as it showed how passionate they were. So scream at Lake and Co. at the top of your lungs.

Have marvelous time, and make sure your little girl gets the Ribs and Rickshaw special!
