Rawls shredded Cincy who has a good defense (on the road too). Dude can flatout play.

SF's run defense isn't bad, they shutdown the league's leading rusher their last game (Freeman). Rawls can break tackles, that is one of the main reasons they went after him out of college.

Hoped he "might" be our future. I just like the kid, I love college football and appreciated those games. Obviously the NFL is a whole new ball game (pun intended) but sometimes you just want to see the underdawgs prevail. That's all really. He wasn't a total disappointment but didn't capitalize either. Maybe if we went double backs, he'd be a vicious fullback that could throw some heavy blocks and catch a ball once in awhile. I miss the Real Rob.

And I hope Beast comes back and goes out with a BANG! Most attitude we've had in the backfield since Fenner. Again, just my opinion. Feel free to shred.
 
Beast will be hard to replace, I hope to see him next year but...

Rawls is still pretty green, it took Lynch a few years to find his groove.

Maybe we'll pick up Cooper and all will be saved! LOL

All jokes aside, I do root for that kid now hand me a Kleenex.

He was a pretty good 3rd down back but he was just really top heavy and went down too easily on contact.
