Syrian Civil War 2 - Middle East Boogaloo

I’ve noticed that the Chickenhawk warmongers are starting to get ‘bored’ with Ukraine, since they now know it’s a lost cause - which is why they turned on the Syria War again.
South Korea is coming up fast in the homestretch of this disastrous administration as well. Martial law declared today.

It would be nice if Leftists could get a firm position on Turkey’s membership in NATO. They were screaming at Trump in 2019 to basically go to war with Turkey by putting active US military units on the ground in Syria, all for the plight of our longtime ally The Kurds (!!!).

No. I'm fine with some cia goons and green beret types doing their thing over there advising and whatnot, but beyond that, no.

Chickenhawk PGOS is fine with sending others to fight in wars that have nothing to do with legitimate US national interests. I don’t consider the Cheney Machine gaslighting people into believing Ukraine, which ~90% of US citizens count point to on a map, is about democracy (when it’s about money-laundering and bio-labs) to be of national interest.

I don’t consider whatever is going on in Syria, also which ~90% of Americans can’t find in a map, to be of national interest.
We have people living in tents in western NC months after a massive flooding that are being ignored and these warmongers want blood overseas/

There is a proposed pipeline from Qatar to Europe that runs directly through Syria. Also another from Iran/Iraq through Syria to the Mediterranean. Pipeline to Europe would make purchase of US LNG unnecessary.

It’s always about the oil and gas.

The US also likes stable countries in the shitshow that is the Mid East.
The US wants more Saudi Arabias and Isreals, not Yemens and Iran proxies.
And Assad is an Iran proxy just like Hezbollah or Hamas.

He must be young because we heard this same bullshit in the lead up to the Iraq War, which I was fooled into supporting at the time.
I was making the same arguments as PGOS but experience has given me the ability to see these same arguments for military intervention are made in each generation. It’s always about money. There hasn’t been a conflict worth entering after 12/8/1941 IMO. Nothing has been gained since other than military bases all over the world with contractors like Raytheon making billions from it.

Me neither, but after 20 years, the result is the Taliban still in charge, but with billions of dollars of our equipment and a fully functional military base Biden abandoned.
Totally worthless for everyone except politicians and warmongering military contractors.
