I like Beau too. JS might work with a great surrounding cast, much like Wilcox at Cal. Bring in Nigel B for D Coordinator, no matter who gets hired. Maybe hire Petrino (Idaho) as OC. JS with Petrino and Nigel would be an interesting fit. Younger coach, that's smart, and can recruit, with two, proven coordinators with head coaching experieince.

For Anderson to surrender guaranteed payments until 2021, all I can say is that I hope she was worth it.

M'eh. Harbaugh came from D2 USD to Stanford, the Chipster prepped at UNH, Dabo Swinney was never a head coach prior, lots of coordinators move up to head jobs at P5 schools without being a head guy first. G5 is one path but not the only one.
Wolf was an outlier.
