Such an improvement (Mike Vorel's beautiful article)

Doesn't Vorel know its hard? You just can't pass the ball to your best players with your best quarterback. It isn't that simple. There are intracacies and details that need to get nailed down.
 
Even fucking Rod said it last night. You can over scheme and forget its as easy as avoiding the best players on their team and getting it the best players on your team.

Lots of crap about firing Hamdan in comment section. And if that's truly the problem, that's fine. But I'd like to see Pete quizzed about whose offense it really is, and how much control he exercises over it. I think we all know the answer, but I want to see him admit it, without bullshit or doublespeak or "we'll check the tape" non-answers. Fat chance that'll ever happen though.

Small issue with the title of the other article: "Stanford stuns No. 15 Washington in merciless, methodical thrashing" - I don't feel stunned whatsoever, and isn't that the most damning evidence of all? - That fans are getting used to this shit? And if he's referring to the TEAM being stunned, then still that isn't any better.

None of this shit is his fault. He does the best he can and would be a solid 2nd receiver or a phenomenal 3rd. He needs to not drop as many passes though.

And how about Pete name one fucking thing they truly did to simplify things. Or since I'm already talking about things that'll never happen, an in-depth breakdown of what the problem was and how they addressed it. You know, the thing they identified as an issue last year? my goodness that is a wonderfully written piece...how long has it been since we've had someone courageous and insightful...and interested in UW (fuck Jood and his Duck angle) enough to put thoughts like that together.

Vorel captured my thoughts nicely with "utterly incompetent" and "utterly ineffective".

Last night's game is a huge indictment on Petersen's system since we are at this point in year 6 where nobody else is capable of playing according to the coach.
