Someday, the sun will start to become a red giant and burn the solar system to ashes. The planet is active and changing. We simply happen to be here at a time that is hospitable to supporting life. Right now it's just a mater of people fighting over control and money. There are billions and maybe trillions at stake as well as government control of the people. Of course there will be a fight.

I agree. The climate is changing. It's not going to be as bad as most people are predicting. It's not going to be disastrous to the world.

The economic crisis that will result in our over reliance on fossil fuels is looming, however.

My crusade has been against those denying that climate change is man-made, because all the evidence points against them.

Carbon based energy is by far the most portable, most readily available, and provides the most energy per dollar than any other source. It isn't even close. And to say we are going run out in 100 years is 100% false. Check the facts. So the solution has become make the carbon fuels artificially more expenses through taxation and fees. In fact, taxes collected from a gallon of gas far exceed the evil oil company profits. It's a sweet gig for the government. No risk and reap billions.
