Beck's relative lack of super stardom success compared with Clapton and Page was always a mystery to me.

He was just as influential a those other Yardbirds for laying the ground work for heavy guitar rock. And Page and Plant on Led Zep I basically plagiarized Beck and Rod Stewart's (hi @RaceBannon @PurpleThrobber ) shit fucko from Truth (released over a 6 months before).

Guess he didn't want is bad enough.
