Was about to say that isn’t the 101. And the 110 isn’t anywhere near as busy of a freeway as the 101. I used to use the 110 as a traffic dodger when I would have jobs in LA.
Equating lack of traffic to illegals is such a stretch that the ape probably has a broken neck now

The freeways were unique and had unique names that are still used in parallel with the numbering system that came later.
The Hollywood Freeway, The Orange, The Harbor, etc.
The only other place this is true is in the tri state area.
110 sucks ass! I worked a great deal off the 110 and travelled the freeway every day for years working major narcotics Often in that area after murders/gang members etc. but dope as well. Every freeway sucks ass in L.A. the inland empire and canyon country! Hell the 5 can be a wreck from the San Fernando valley to the Mexican border.

Perhaps in my great grandchildren's time there will be some confusion with the North-South Freeway. But my guess is we'll call that the "North South Freeway".
