Stephon Wright, 2019 4* DE, Cathedral HS, Los Angeles, CA (offered)

Makes 100% sense because we’ve beat them everywhere else ... Wright has always felt like a backup plan to me IF we were to miss on any of our top targets ... which it doesn’t look like we are going to miss

Looking at his 5 schools:

Colorado/Illinois = schools that he will be able to play at early

USC = local school that MAY have high end ability with coaching change

TCU = best chance to win in college given current variable (non-UW division)

UW = where he wants to go but not sure there is a seat at the table

i think he had committable offer at one point, but he decided to wait it out so almost all the slots got taken

this kid is too big to play on the edge. Unless they really manage his weight, this kid going to be at 315 by his rs jr year

We've also seemingly been morphing into playing more 3-3-5 than 4-2-5 as of late … so who knows what we're ultimately going to do in recruiting

I think we running 3-3-5 not because we want to, but because we can’t get sam or buck that can pass rush worth a shit

That’s my point

What is the feeling with him? He still has the husky graphic as his twitter banner. It has been like this since he visited in late April. Is he a take if Ika doesn't come here? You would think he would take it down if he didn't think we were an option.

Real talk: Why can’t this guy play BUCK? In space, is he any more vulnerable than Mathis or Benning?
