Tuli was an AWESOME get, and Malloe deserves a lot of credit. HOWEVER, UW's Polynesian verbal commitments also deserve a lot of credit. They really bonded with Tuli at that all-star game. Plus, Malloe is Poly.

Now, if Malloe can pull Stephon Wright - an African American kid out of Los Angeles with offers from usc and ucla - THAT[/b] would be a major achievement for him.

I saw Stephon at the Spring game. He was with his mom. He’s tall. Great frame. Right before the spring game started he came out of the tunnel right along side NK and they sat down together.

Also saw Draco who has really bulked up from the last time I saw him at the spring game last year. He looks incredible. Saw Tuli as well and he’s a big boy. Super wide frame. Nice to see all the former players on the sidelines (Kevin King, Budda, John Ross, Shaq etc) I’m sure they were hanging with the recruits.

Lost in the whole Malloe fucking up with Marlon fiasco was the fact that Malloe got Marlon to verbal in the first place which was a huge get.

It didn't end up amounting to anything since you don't get any points for second place but the initial verbal was probably more predictive of Malloe's recruiting ability then the Nansen cock-up was.
