What show, and who is stephen colbert?
My trusty local news station (the one that informed me the 2021 Atlanta All Star Game was cancelled due to Covid) implied that Trump suing Paramount/CBS is the reason the Late Show was cancelled.
A lot of people are saying that on social media. Also, Trump threatened their FCC license and he eats babies.

Colbert Report was funny. 2007 Colbert is a far cry from whatever the hell he did at CBS. I noticed Letterman got considerably lamer when he went to CBS too.
Letterman ceased being funny and became an angry old man- right about the time he had to quit boffing the office help.
They all have TDS. Being worth tens of millions of dollars, and Letterman's case hundreds of millions, allowed them to virtue signal for the people they hung out with. Unfortunately for them none of them are remotely funny and being woke isn't selling in 2025 and most people don't like being lied to.
