The only comparable period for depth was 2000-2001 and the current group has more firepower and better depth… James usually had maybe 3 receivers and was more focused on all 3 phases of the game, win the game with powerful defense, running the ball, field position and the occasional big play through the air

Polk has the best hands, Jalen has the best speed, Rome is the toughest to bring down after the catch. But all three of them are good in all three aspects.

Not sure which one is the best route runner.

They're all three complete receivers IMO. Polk is just massively underrated.

Rome is so physically dominant this year. He's gotten so good at just boxing out dudes, or using his body to create separation. Then just dragging their ass for 10 YAC and talking shit after the play. Just not fair what he's doing to DBs.

Really could not ask for a 1-4 WR & TE group with more complimentary skillset. Like obviously there are better players, but we have every type of receiver you could want for any play Grubb wants to call.

Absolutely. He's the most elusive of the four and stronger than Jalen. Good hands too.
