'Star Wars' struggles in a country far, far away: China

I saw “The Rise of Skywalker” last night. It was HORRIBLE.

The only positive I can take away from it is I’m sure the Mr. Plinkett review ripping it apart will be EPIC.

I saw it Thursday night. I liked it. What can I say?

FWIW the pacing was utter dogshit and the first half of the movie was kind of tough to watch so I can understand completely hating it

Also without spoiling it it does kind of invalidates some very important stuff from prior movies in the franchise which I do not like at all. Still, I enjoyed it. Liked Luke's redemption a lot after how TLJ treated him.
 
Weird take to think that Luke needed redemption after TLJ, where he sacrificed himself to save his friends by force projecting himself halfway across the fucking galaxy, living up to his mythical status and spawning stories about him even among young stablehands on casino planets, yearning to be free
