Par 3 course, of course

I birdied the first hole, was even after 5 holes.

I was +1 after 7. Feeling pretty good.

Then on 8, I hit my tee shot into a sand trap... of a different hole. I finished with 8 strokes on 8.

Then I triple bogeyed #9, after I hit my tee shot into the pond.

I finished the morning with a horrific 36, +9.

I'm not quite ready for big boy golf courses.

It’s alright. I once shot 14 on a par 3 at Eagles Pride on a sunny 72 degree day. And I wasn’t drunk. I got drunk 3 holes later however.

Golf already? Damn. The course here will firm up fast if it stays dry, but first the snow has to melt. It's not totally covered now but there are too many patches and a soggy mess all around them.

I've been golfing all winter. I golfed in 27 degree weather in December.

I played some in November and early December, but it has been unplayable here for over a month. We're only a few days away though if it stays dry.
