Curious what @AZDuck @oregonblitzkrieg @blackmamba @IPukeOregonGrellow @Mosster47 and others I'm forgetting think. Also doogs and coogs and doovs opinions welcum..

Some interesting debates on Twitter. I'll go with 2010, Thomas was one of the more underrated P12 QBs ever.

Their best team ever lost to a basketball school.

At home.

“lol”

2010 team, no question. Tuff as nails. Nice to see a husky be honest and finally acknowledge that play was a fucking fluke. Darron Thomas wasn't a great QB, but he performed on the big stage and would take the big hits if it meant completing a pass. He was tougher than Mariota in that regard. It's amazing that Chip was able mold a team led by a future CFL QB with problems off the field, and lead them to the championship game. James was great, but underperformed when he was needed most. It helped to have a great supporting cast, like Jeff Maehl, Casey Mathews, etc.

I just remember one player slapping that team around.

What a legacy Oregon has.

Your opinion is welcum (but it's worth less than a quook's IOW). A fluke play which led to a field goal, yeah the team really got slapped around. Did you actually graduate from Central, or did they give you the heave ho when you failed to maintain a 2.0 GPA?

The 2010 team rotated 25 guys on D that either played in the NFL or made an All-Conference team. The offense didn't have much talent outside of LaMike and Barner, but they weren't as good as the 2014 team.

The very simple football reason Ohio State won that game is Devon Allen tore his ACL in the Rose Bowl and Carrington was suspended for having an amount of THC in his urine that would be considered acceptable for the military or any corporate entity, but not the NCAA. Of course there were three other WR's out as well but those last two did it.

This allowed tOSU to play cover 3 all night and bring an extra man down into the box to stop the run. Luck plays a big part in everything in a long season and it didn't go Oregon's way at the WR position that year. A freshman Charlea Nelson was Oregon's best WR by the end of the year, which doesn't cut it.

The Fiesta Bowl year with Mariota would have been the best. Had the Ertz TD been officated correctly the Ducks would have played ND for the title which would have been a gimme. The Pac-12 fucked itself in football, which is par for the course.

I would go with the team that has Mariota over the one that lost against Auburn with Darron Thomas.

I didn't realize Allen and Carrington would have helped stop a 3rd string QB from hanging 42 on you guys.

MossterFuckingStupid.

Negro Tebow was equally as unstoppable as original Tebow.

Oregon not being able to run the ball because of a stacked box, not being able to stretch the field because their best target was a 5'7" freshman couples with trying to go as fast as possible resulted in a shit on of punts.

This football stuff isn't hard. You have to look past the box score sometimes.

So the scoreboard wasn't indicative of how the game really went? You sound like a quook playbook echo chamber for fucks sake.

I'm no football coach in a football state, but it seemed they weren't able to throw down field because the offensive line couldn't block Joey Bosa.

Also, because I'm a contrarian, I'll take the Dennis Dixon knee year.

You have four guys who went on to be NFL Pro Bowlers (Stewart, Unger, Byrd, Ward) plus a couple more who hung around the NFL as starters to some extent for awhile (Chung, Schwartz, Dickson). What that says, I'm not really sure. But I've heard having NFL talent matters. As an added bonus, they punched Leavitt in the mouth in their bowl game.

Tebow dominated for 3 years straight. Cardale Jones had a couple good games, but couldn’t even keep the starting job.

Oregon lost because Ohio State dominated them on both sides of the ball.
