I'm bullish that the defense is going to be better this year. Calling my Bruener All-American white linebacker shot. The offense could be serviceable. Still too many unknowns all around. More on offense though.
Everything hinges on having a halfway decent offensive line. If we? get that, then I can see 9-10 wins. If there isn't much more of an upgrade there, then I think we're? staring down a 6-7 win season at best. Without a decent OL, the offense is fucked.
Yeah if we had to play this week we would be horrible. 75% of plays would've ended in sacks if they were allowed to touch QBs. But the oline that played this week will hopefully not be the oline that plays in September, LIPO I guess
Browning, Fuller, Baccellia…maybe one of those guys would be second string on this offense.
Don't speak too soon. Rogers and Browning might be a spitting image. Also Browning is more badass than we ever could have imagined. It helps Jake to have WR, all the proof is out there. I would accept a Jake with a solid WR crew this season while Demond seasons. Wouldn't be the worst thing.
We had 8 OL play the whole game, including walk-ons and true freshmen. These won't be the same OL that come September when we get more portals and people back from injury
