I'm north of 40. It's not a playlist. Just what Spotify said were my most listened too songs in 2019 which made me laff. Apparently I am mystical tea leaf jesus as @oregonblitzkrieg (RIP) would say and I love me some mellow folk based music.

Not to fear, my IRL spotify heavy music playlists are the shit.

thanks - I am checking to see what my list is for actual number of plays - maybe post it later. That list was from a couple of weeks ago on my laptop. I normally listen to my iPod and it doesn't track this stuff.

when you did the Christmas song thread I looked up when Christmas Wrapping came out - it was 1982 and I saw a listing for a Jools Holland (wtf is he?) video of Come On, Eileen. So I watched it, then searched for the original version by Dexy's watched it, and saw a cover by Sugarland that they did for a special Youtube. I know CSB - but I can't get that damn song out of my head now

may I rot in hell for linking Come on Eileen here

What is Spotify?

It’s like owning every album ever made for $11.99 a month. And it’s all in the cloud.

Correct me, but it's more like having access[/i] to everything but listening to what they randomly put in front of you? I tried it but am too needy about my music, I want particular songs at a particular time. So I use iTunes which I abhor

Not at all. If you pay for premium you can play any album you want from front to back. No ads. Complete control. It’s amazing.

Not to be annoying here, but you don't own anything. Subscription stops and you don't have anything to show for it. And, yes, I'm the guy who still buys albums.

I own lots of albums. I just don’t own them on Spotify.

Spotify is a wonderful product. But I never use it for serious listening in the man cave.
