SPORTS Commentary: USC may not be able to escape its Oregon problem in Big Ten after all

For the love of God, do not invite Stanford or Cal to the Big Ten.

They destroyed the PAC with their rejection of Texas in 1990ish and their rejections of both Texas and OU in 2010-11. Stanford and Cal need to be punished for destroying the PAC. And they attract about 20 fans to their games, to boot. Does the Big 10 seriously still believe in the Rutgers/Maryland model of taking teams in big markets where nobody cares about them?
 
SC just had two decommitments and a third may be coming soon. Too Oregon. And they’re recruiting with the B1G “advantage.” Still trying to feast off McKay and Petey.

I know people are worried but my guess is that UO lets the huskies join the B1G as well.

They didn’t want either but we’re more vocal on Oregon. A lot of that has to do with SoCal recruiting. It’s not that UW isn’t a threat on the football field, it’s more that UW wasn’t continuously sneaking into their house and fucking their hot sister at the same level Oregon was with SoCal recruiting.

Or you could say UW was sneakily doing it, while Oregon would do it then stand outside the house holding a sign that said “ha ha, I just fucked your sister”

What's not on there is actual research revenue, which last time I looked Michigan and UW were on a different level completely from every B1G school.

Academies that actually makes money is important to this conference.
